SWMU 80 – Drainage Ditch adjacent to Building 207

This site consists of the drainage ditch that initiates near Building 207 and conveys storm water to a drainage ditch down gradient of Bldg 207. This drainage ditch was identified during a source area investigation looking for metals in the drainage ditch system coming from SWMU 56.

Status

• On April 23, 2010 the Navy designated this area as a new SWMU.
• Navy requested a Schedule Extension for the New SWMU 80 Draft Phase I RFI WP on July 2, 2010.
• A Draft Phase I RFI Work Plan for SWMU 80 was submitted to the EPA on August 17, 2010.
• The Final Phase I RCRA Facility Investigation Work Plan for SWMU 80 was submitted to the EPA on November 24, 2010.
• The Revised Final Phase I RCRA Facility Investigation Work Plan for SWMU 80 was submitted to the EPA on May 27, 2011 in accordance with EPAs March 11, 2011 comments.
